Fiber optic expansion involves investments worth millions with long payback periods - decisions about expansion areas are therefore mission-critical. Until now, the selection of areas was based on experience and rough estimates, without a reliable forecast of costs and sales potential.

Solution

We have developed a tool that plots areas directly on satellite maps. Our models generate precise predictions of expansion costs and sales potential for each area. A particular focus was on explainable AI so that every recommendation remains understandable.
