Predictive maintenance describes the art of predicting when maintenance makes the most sense by intelligently evaluating measurement data from sensors and internal machine data. A well-integrated and implemented predictive maintenance application can provide many mission-critical competitive advantages.

Lower risk of failure:

Significantly less failure. In large production processes and companies, unplanned downtime and maintenance work are catastrophic. If the production lines at Volkswagen stand still for a few hours in Wolfsburg, the damage can quickly run into the millions. But such accidents are also extremely nerve-wracking for SMEs and medium-sized companies. They lead to high costs, dissatisfied customers, alienated partners, potential contractual penalties and high repair costs.

Early detection of defective machines:

If machines do not work according to the standard and are possibly fundamentally defective, repairs or replacement can be ensured at an early stage before contract and service guarantees expire and production already relies 100 percent on the machine.

Higher customer satisfaction:

Predictive maintenance must be seen as a service for your own customers. If you are a machine manufacturer yourself, you enable your customers to sleep more peacefully if you are able to provide reliable PM services. At the same time, escalations and claims for damages are prevented in the event of unplanned outages where a culprit is sought. Many machines are also used by private customers to make your life easier. Excellent examples of this are passenger and freight elevators as well as aids for the disabled. Unplanned outages in this segment lead to very unpleasant situations for everyone involved.

Many customers now take care of their own predictive maintenance projects for their machines because the manufacturers do not provide this service.
